KCCN Upgrades 68 Nigerian Taekwondo Students To Yellow Belt

The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) has upgraded 68 Taekwondo Students to Yellow Belt following the completion of its programme which played hosts to four FCT schools.
A total of 107 students took part in the KCCN programme.

Eight out of the promoted students excelled and received special prizes.

These students include Emmanuel Anozie, Ismail Tahir, Joseph Anozie, Amir Aminu, Destiny Chukwukere, Katherine Ohajuba, Abdulbasit Umar and Samuel Basset.

For the better part of the last four years, KCCN has forged a solid partnership with the FCT Universal Basic Education Board (FCT UBEC), the Korean Sports Promotion Foundation and Taekwondowon in the quest to introduce Taekwondo to public schools in the FCT.

The four public schools that featured in the just concluded programme include LEA Wuse 5 Zone 1 and Model Junior Secondary School, Maitama, LEA Wuse Zone 3 and Model Primary School, Maitama.
