Italian Champions Juventus have signed Defender Joao Cancelo from Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia.
The 24-year-old right back has signed a five-year contract at the Juventus Stadium in a reported deal worth €40.4m (35.5m).
The seven-cap Portuguese international spent last season on loan at Italian giants Inter Milan and went on to score once in 26 Serie A games.
He joins Juventus as a replacement for Swiss right back Stephane Lichtsteiner, who left to join Premier League side Arsenal on a free transfer earlier this summer.
Joao Cancelo was named in Portugal’s preliminary World Cup squad but didn’t make the final cut for the tournament.
He becomes Juventus’ fourth signing of the summer after Brazilian winger Douglas Costa, midfielder Emre Can and goalkeeper Mattia Perin.
