Juventus Beat Atalanta To Win Coppa Italia

Juventus won a 14th Coppa Italia trophy following a tight 2-1 win over Atalanta on Wednesday night.

The Bianconeri took the lead through former Atalanta man Dejan Kulusevski after half an hour, but Ruslan Malinovskyi gave Atalanta a deserved equaliser before half time.

Andrea Pirlo’s side restored their lead after the interval with Federico Chiesa scoring what proved to be the winner from Kulusevki’s assist with just under 20 minutes to go.

This win means Juve have now won the Coppa Italia 14 times, and ensures Pirlo ends his debut season as Juve manager with silverware, papering over huge cracks in what has been a disappointing season that could yet end with no Champions League football for the first time in a decade.
