Junior Lokosa Completes Move to Tunisian Side

Junior Lokosa has joined Tunisian giants and CAF Champions League holders, Esperance from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kano Pillars.

The fringe Super Eagles striker signed a two-and-half-year deal with the 3-time African Champions.

The move comes as a relief for the 25-year old who had three unsuccessful attempts to move abroad in 2018.

The former First Bank star scored 19 league goals for Pillars last season to emerge the top scorer in the NPFL.

Lokosa made his only Super Eagles appearance in the 1-1 draw between Nigeria and DR Congo in Port Harcourt on 28 May, 2018 as Gernot Rohr’s men prepared for the World Cup.

Despite impressing in the friendly encounter, the prolific forward was dropped from the final squad to Russia.
