Cardiff City defender Joe Bennett has signed a contract extension at the club until 2021.
Bennett, 28, has become an important member of the Cardiff City squad since joining the Bluebirds on a free transfer in August, 2016.
He becomes the third Cardiff City player to sign a new three-year deal at the newly Premier League club after winger Junior Hoilett and goalkeeper Neil Etheridge.
On his new contract, Bennett told the club’s website that: “I’m really happy. It got sorted out very quickly, so now I can just concentrate on my football.”
The club’s executive director and chief executive Ken Choo added: “Joe has performed admirably for the club since we welcomed him here two years ago.
“He seemed to reach another level in our promotion-winning season.” He concluded.
