Jędrzejczyk’s injuries drew comparisons with the film Mastermind

Following such a brutal fight, naturally, both women were sent to hospital with Jedrzejczyk seemingly spending the night.

Respected MMA journalist Ariel Helwani posted a picture of the Pole leaving the hospital with her head bandaged up on Sunday morning.

He wrote: “Joanna Jedrzejczyk was just discharged from the hospital, according to her team. No significant injuries, they said.”

He also added Weili was discharged around the same time and revealed her manager, Brian Butler told him the strawweight champion had no significant injuries other than swelling in her feet and ankles.
