Iwobi Reflects On Fulham’s Defeat To Liverpool

Alex Iwobi has reflected on Fulham’s disappointing away defeat to Liverpool, reports Completesports.com.

Marco Silva’s side lost 4-3 to the Reds in a thrilling Premier League contest at Anfield on Sunday.

Fulham led 3-2 towards the end of the game, but Liverpool fought back to claim all three points.

Iwobi claimed it is important for the Whites to turn their impressive displays to goals.

“Of course, it’s good to have good performances,” the Nigeria international told the Athletic.

“But we need to turn them into results. That’s what pushes you up the table. It’s all good saying you performed well, but we need results. It’s fine margins.

“The goals were outrageous,” said Iwobi. “We showed character and fighting spirit. It’s just unfortunate we didn’t take something.”
