Iwobi On Target In Emphatic Arsenal Win

Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi was on the scoresheet as he helped his Arsenal side record a dominant 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in a London Derby Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.

Iwobi doubled Arsenal’s lead inside ten minutes off an assist from Spanish defender Nacho Monreal, who had given the Gunners the lead from a Granit Xhaka corner.

Club captain added a third goal before French striker Alexandre Lacazette rounded off a 4-0 result at halftime.

Luka Milovojevic pulled one back for the away side eleven minutes from time but it proved to be mere consolation for the away side.

With the win, Arsenal (42 points) stay in 6th spot but significantly move to within five points of Liverpool (47 points) in the last Champions League place (4th) while Crystal Palace drop from 12th to 13th position with 25 points.
