Iwobi Misses Out On Fulham’s Man Of The Match Award

Alex Iwobi missed out in Fulham’s Man of the Match award despite scoring two goals in the 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest.

Fulham announced Raul Jimenez as the Man of the Match while Iwobi finished second.

Iwobi was beaten to the award by Raul Jimenez who also scored two goals in the comfortable win.

Jimenez polled 48.2% of the votes to finish ahead of Iwobi who got 20.9%.

In third place was Tom Cairney who garnered 19.8% of the vote.

According to a statement by Fulham, Jimenez beat Iwobi to the award thanks to his holdup play and aerial prowess.

Iwobi’s two goals took his tally in the league this season to three in 13 appearances.

Also the former Arsenal forward has scored four goals in 15 games in all competitions for the London club.
