Napoli captain Marek Hamsik netted the only goal of the game to help his team to a slim 1-0 win at Crotone thereby extending their lead at the top.

The 17th minute strike from Napoli’s no. 17 took his overall tally to 117 on a special occasion for the Slovakian who was being celebrated by his teammates for becoming the leading goalscorer in the club’s history ahead of Diego Maradona.

The Napoli players wore special jerseys to celebrate the incredible feat achieved by their captain and it was fitting for Hamsik to net the only goal of the game en route an important victory.
