Iniesta Opens Vissel Kobe Account (Video)

Spanish playmaker Andres Iniesta scored his first goal for Vissel Kobe as he helped his new club to a 2-1 win over Jubilo Iwata at home in a Japanese League clash played on Saturday.

The 2010 World Cup winner scored a breathtaking goal to give Vissel Kobe the lead on 16 minutes before Kyogo Furuhashi doubled the lead in the 56th minute.

Keogo Kawamata halved the deficit from the spot for the visitors but Vissel Kobe held on for the points to move to 4th spot on the league table with 32 points from their 21 games.

Jubilo Iwata are in 10th spot with 28 points from 21 games.

Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta left the club at the end of his contract last season after a trophy-laden 17 years at the Nou Camp.

He moved to Vissel Kobe on a free transfer this summer after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.
