The Nigeria U18 women handball national team got their African Zone 3 World Cup Qualifier campaign underway with a 50 – 11 thrashing of Togo at the Academie De Arts Stadium in Niamey.

From the blast of the whistle, the Togolese side could not measure up with the blistering form of Nigeria’s cadet team.

Nigeria’s next attention will be on Benin Republic in the International Handball Federation World Cup Qualifiers scheduled for the Academie Stadium at 4:00 pm on Tuesday.

Their campaign will end on Wednesday against host nation Niger Republic as they hope to win the trophy and pick a ticket to the next phase of qualification for the IHF Trophy.
