IHF International Challenge Trophy: Nigeria’s U-18 Females Confident to Replicate Successes in Guinea

The national under 18 handball female team who are in Conakry, Guinea for the IHF International Challenge (the intercontinental phase) are confident of replicating the success they got in the first phase of the competition.

The cadet team who defeated everyone in the first phase of the International Handball Federation sanctioned tournament in Niamey, Niger Republic earlier in the year are well motivated to do the needful in qualifying for the international phase.

Players of team who spoke with HFN media during their camping excersise at the Rowe Park Sports Center in Yaba, Lagos say with the kind of support and motivation gotten from the Samuel Ocheho led Handball Federation of Nigeria board, they can go the length to make their country proud.

Meanwhile, HFN President, Mr. Sam Ocheho is also confident of the chances of the girls in Guinea and has promised that the federation will do everything to possible to motivate them towards success.
