Iheanacho Will Leave Us For Leicester City – Pep Guardiola

The next club of Manchester City’s striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, have been confirmed by City’s manager, Pep Guardiola.

The 46-year-old manager hinted that Iheanacho will possibly move to Premier League Club, Leicester City, but would remain with City if the deal doesn’t pull through.

Speaking at a pre-season press conference, Guardiola said: “I think Kelechi leaves us in favour of Leicester,”

“I think so, but I do not want to say anything wrong either. We will see. If that does not happen, he will be part of the group.”

Iheanacho have been reportedly named as Leicester’s top transfer target all summer, with the Foxes’ manager, Craig Shakespeare expressing his hopes of signing the Nigerian earlier last week, saying: “I’m hoping so, but I am like every other manager at the moment. I think we all find it frustrating but it is the current market,”

“When he(Iheanacho) is in the door we can announce it.”

The 20-year-old striker was left out of City’s Pre-season tour, joining midfielders Fernando and Fabian Delph, alongside Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony.
