Iheanacho, Ndidi On Target As Leicester Secure FA Cup 5th Round Berth With Dominant Win

Super Eagles stars Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were on target as their Leicester City side swept aside English League One Side Peterborough United 5-1 in their 4th round clash.

New signing Fousseni Diabate gave the Foxes the lead as early as the ninth minute before Iheanacho added a second goal to make it three goals in the last two FA Cup appearance.

The former Manchester City forward added his second of the afternoon off an assist from Austrian left-back Christian Fuchs to make it an impressive 9 goals in his last 9 games in the FA Cup thus putting Leicester City 3-0 up at the interval.

The home side pulled one back through Andrew Hughes after the halftime break to threaten a revival against Claude Puel’s side but late goals from the aforementioned Diabate and substitute Ndidi made it a comprehensive 5-1 win thus sending Leicester City into the FA Cup 5th round alongside the likes of Manchester United and Sheffield Wednesday.
