Odion Ighalo is set to make his full debut for Manchester United after he was named in the starting eleven for the Red Devils’ Europa League round of 32 second leg tie against Club Brugge at Old Trafford.
The striker has made three substitute appearances for the Red Devils since his deadline day move to Old Trafford but is set to earn his first start when United take on the Belgian side with kickoff a few minutes away.
Having come close to breaking his duck in front of goal a couple of times when coming on from the bench, the 30-year-old will hope to open his United account in front of home fans having been granted his first start.
Ighalo will come against compatriot David Okereke who has been selected to lead the line for Brugge in the absence of fells Nigerian Emmanuel Dennis who has been ruled out with injury.
Both teams are tied after the first leg ended 1-1 in Brugge.
