Ighalo Reveals Customised Boots For Man Utd Debut

Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo clearly can’t wait to take to the pitch for the Red Devils and has shared a picture of the boots he intends to don when he makes his debut for the Red Devils.

The 30-year-old striker who was allocated his jersey number on Tuesday joined United on deadline day and appears impatient to make his debut for the club he has supported all his life.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Ighalo revealed a pair of Nike Mercurial boots which had the name of his late sister Mary Atole who passed on in December 2019 woven into its fabric.

He shared the picture with the caption “MARY ATOLE (nee Ighalo) lives forever”.

United are currently on a winter break and Ighalo will have the chance to don the boots when they return to action in the Premier League against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 17 February.
