Ibrahim Amadou Joins Sevilla From French Ligue 1 Side Lille

French defender Ibrahim Amadou has joined Spanish La Liga giants Sevilla from Lille.

Amadou, 25, teams up with Sevilla after he signed a four-year contract for a reported €15m.

His transfer was confirmed by the Andalusian club’s website on Monday evening.

Ibrahim Amadou, who will link up with former Lille teammate Sebastian Corchia at Sevilla, joined the former Ligue 1 champions from fellow French side Nancy in 2015 and went on to make 105 appearances in three seasons.

He has represented France at the U-19 level but is eligible to play for Les Blues or his country of birth, Cameroon, on the senior international stage.
