I Inherited A Weak Liverpool When I Arrived –Klopp

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he inherited a weak team when he first arrived at Anfield.

Recall that Klopp first took over the Liverpool manager’s job in October 2015, replacing Brendan Rodgers in the Anfield hot seat.

The German tactician who is set to play his last game as Liverpool manager on Sunday against Wolves at Anfield, told the club’s official website that he inherited a squad not good to compete for titles.

He said, “In the few days before first press conference I had been talking to people about why they changed from Brendan Rodgers to me, what happened in not becoming champions in 2014 and what it meant being so close. I realised everyone was doubting what Liverpool does and no-one liked the team. Even the team didn’t like the team!
