Huddersfield Town Complete Adama Diakhaby Transfer From Monaco

Huddersfield Town have signed French midfielder Adama Diakhaby from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.

Diakhaby, 22, joins the Premier League side on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth year after both clubs agreed a transfer for him.

He scored two goals in 22 league appearances last season.

Adama Diakhaby is versatile as he can play on the wings or as an attacking midfielder.

On the new acquisition, Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner told the club’s website that: “He is a very hungry young footballer with a strong desire to succeed in England.”

“Obviously he is still learning and improving at 22 years old, but he already has many of the qualities that we look for in our attacking players.

“He’s a direct player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and with genuine pace, which suits our style perfectly.” Wagner concluded.
