Hottest Ticket In Town! Over 740k World Cup Tickets Allocated After Sales Phase 1

Ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Draw scheduled for the Kremlin Palace in Moscow on December 1, tickets have gone on sale and it seems to be the hottest one in town.

A total of 742,760 tickets were allocated during the two periods of sales phase 1 and 47% of all the applications received were from countries outside Russia.

Fans from the USA, Brazil, Germany, China, Mexico, Israel, Argentina, Australia, and England all make the top 10 of countries with the most applications

Speaking on ticket sales, Falk Eller, FIFA Head of Ticketing, said: “We are very pleased with the results of the first sales phase. They confirmed the great interest sparked by the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia – both at local and international level. The next opportunity to secure a place at this unique event will start on 5 December 2017 at 12:00 Moscow time at FIFA.com/tickets, just four days after the Final Draw. Fans from all over the world will be able to apply for individual match tickets. Category 4 tickets, which are exclusively reserved for Russian residents, will also be available.”

The second phase is expected to resume on December 5, 2017 and fans can be able to make ticket allocations until January 31, 2018..
