Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against Chelsea on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was stretchered off in the 72nd minute after he went down clutching his knee in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Chelsea.
This was the Spaniard’s first start in five weeks after sustaining a calf injury against Southampton in December.
He is expected to be on the sidelines for about six to nine months.
