Fans of newly promoted Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit Heartland FC of Owerri took laws into their hand after they descended on the team bus of visiting Plateau United.

The Nigerian champions were guests of Heartland in what was a Matchday 18 clash but the outcome didn’t favour Heartland prompting the show of shame from their fans.

Abiodun Thompson gave the home side the lead on 21 minutes before Plateau United were rewarded with a point following Tosin Omoyele’s equaliser on the stroke of fulltime

Heartland fans thereafter descended on the Plateau United team bus.
