Heartland Coach Targets Revenge In Reverse Fixture With Pillars

The assistant coach of Heartland, Isaac Mbaegbu, has set his sight on revenge when the Owerri-based outfit take on Kano Pillars again on Sunday.

Mbaegbu was speaking after Heartland lost 2-0 to Pillars in a Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 19 fixture yesterday.

In his words via the league’s website, Mbaegbu said: “It was a good game.”

“Pillars is a good team and as you can see my boys gave a good account of themselves,

“We will pay them back in the same coin when we meet in the second phase of the league.” he concluded.

The defeat left Heartland rooted to the bottom of the league standings with 15 points, while Pillars are in third position with 28 points.
