Hart Blames Moyes For England World Cup Axe

Three Lions of England goalkeeper, Joe Hart, is reportedly furious with West Ham United manager David Moyes after he was snubbed for this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Hart is presently on loan at West Ham United from Premier League champions Manchester City and has come in for a lot of criticisms over his performances this season.

Moyes dropped him for the last three games after his showing in the 4-1 loss at Arsenal last month and has paid dearly for it by being omitted from the 23-man travelling party to Russia according to popular English newspaper The Sun.

England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to name his final 23-man squad for the tournament on Wednesday.

Southgate had earlier claimed in December that Hart was his first choice keeper and in March said: “Joe’s professionalism has been brilliant with us. He’s always performed well.

“We had the best defensive record in Europe in qualifying.

“He’s a good leader to have around. He is everything you would hope a senior player would be.” he added.

And former England defender Rio Ferdinand has disclosed that axing Hart is the “right decision”.

He said: “It’s pointless taking someone of that age over a young keeper.

“Why not take a younger keeper who is going to gain experience?

“What is Joe going to learn from going to this World Cup?

“In my eyes it’s the right decision.” Ferdinand concluded.
