Hardwork Gave Us Maximum Points Against KCCA – Ovoke

Rivers United mid-fielder, Bernard Ovoke who scored one of the goals in the 2-1 victory against KCCA of Uganda  expressed joy and satisfaction afree the game. which puts the Nigeria club in a safe place going into the last 2 games of the group.

Ovoke who spoke to pressmen after the match said all the team needed was hard work and determination, which was instructed to them by the head coach Stanley Eguma.
” I worked very hard for the game, including the remaining players, because we needed the victory.
” The coach told me that he believes in me and that was what I needed to play very well in the game.”

Rivers United thus avenged the 2-1 loss they suffered at KCCA earlier this month, but they barely had to hang in after the Ugandan double champions threw everything at them after the interval.

The Port Harcourt outfit have now leapt to second spot in Group A with six points from four matches in a tight section, which could well be determined by goals difference.
