The Prudent Energy Handball Premier League second phase fixtures have been released by the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN).

Secretary General Maigidasanma Mohammed announced the fixtures for the final phase of the league in a press statement from the Federation.

The HFN revealed that the second and final phase Prudent Energy Handball Premier League which will determine the champions in the men and women categories will hold at the Rowe Park Sports Center in Yaba, from 5 -16 October 2019.

Twelve teams will compete in the men’s league while eleven teams will participate in the women’s category with Ghana Police Female Handball team making their first ever appearance in the league, albeit as a nonscoring side.

The teams are expected to have arrived Lagos by October 4 with competition commencing the next day bright at 7am.

Kano Pillars and Safety Babes lead the pack in the men and women categories respectively after the conclusion of the first phase in Abuja last May.

Niger United and Plateau Peacocks are defending champions in the men and women’s categories respectively.

The 2019 champions of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League will be crowned on 16 October which is the last day of competition.
