HANDBALL: HFN Announce New Premier League Dates

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has announced new commencement dates for the first phase of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.

The Handball Premier League will now commence on the 24th of April.

In a statement made available to busybuddiesng.com, the HFN said the shift in start dates was necessitated by a clash in dates with the Intercontinental IHF Challenge Trophy billed for Kosovo from April 10 to April 14, 2019.

Parts of the statement reads: “In view of the clash in date of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League and the IHF Challenge trophy at the Intercontinental level to be held in Kosovo from April 10th to 14th, 2019 in which our Cadet and Junior Men National teams will be involved, the HFN have decided to reschedule the commencement of the first phase of Prudent Energy Handball Premier League as follows:

New Dates

April 24th: Arrival

April 25th to 3rd May: Competition Proper

May 4th: Departure.

The league which is in its second season is the product of a 5-year partnership between the HFN and Prudential Energy.
