Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has failed to address doubts concerning his future at the new Wanda Metropolitano ahead of the next football season.
The French international has been a subject of strong interest from Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona and he had been expected to clear the air about his future at a pre-World Cup press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
He, however, failed to reveal whether he would be staying at the club or moving to the Nou Camp.
In his words, the former Real Sociedad star said: “Sorry but today is not the day. I know there’s a lot of expectation, but today is not the day (to speak about my future).”
Antoine Griezmann is presently with the French squad in Russia as he bids to help Les Blues end a 20-year wait for a World Cup title.
