Great Escape! Neymar ‘Happy’ Brazil Won’t Face Nigeria

Brazilian superstar Neymar has expressed happiness after his team avoided African countries like the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

5-time world champions Brazil ended up with Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia after Friday’s World Cup draw.

When asked about the draw, world’s most expensive player told media via Goal that: “We [Brazil] have to be at our best to get a good result particularly in our first game of the tournament. The teams in our group are difficult to play against.”

“I am happy it wasn’t a group where we had to play against African teams like Nigeria. They run a lot and are very physical in their approach. We are no doubt still up against strong sides at the World Cup.” he added.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Croatia, Iceland and Argentina in Group D at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
