Government Set To Dissolve Ghana FA

The Ghanaian Government has concluded plans to dissolve the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the premiere of the Anas exposé to unravel the extent of corruption in Ghana football.

The decision to dissolve the association was conveyed in a letter from the office of Ghana President, Akufo-Addo.

Several football administrators and match officials, including the GFA President, Kwesi Nyantaki, were captured on camera receiving monies when investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas premiered his expose on Wednesday.

The aforementioned Nyantaki was filmed collecting $65,000 from ‘investors’ to influence the president and vice-president to get road contracts.

Football fans have rightfully expressed their disappointment at the level of corruption in Ghana football as exposed by Anas.
