German Bundesliga Review: Kagawa Strike Saves Aubameyang-Less Dortmund From Defeat

Former Manchester United forward Shinji Kagawa scored with nineteen minutes left to save an Aubameyang-less Borussia Dortmund side from defeat at Hertha Berlin in a week 19 league clash on Friday night.

Dortmund have been rocked by the Aubameyang saga with the Gabon striker keen on leaving the Signa Iduna Park outfit in the January transfer windows and has been heavily linked with English giants Arsenal.

The hosts took the lead just after the interval courtesy David Selke before Japanese star Shinji Kagawa equalised off an assist from young English forward Jadon Sanchon to earn the share of the spoils for his side.

The draw takes Borussia Dortmund (30 points) above Schalke 04 into 3rd place while Hertha Berlin stay in 11th spot after recording 25 points from 19 league games.
