German Bundesliga Latest: Gladbach Strengthen Top Four Bid With Hamburger Win

Borussia Moenchengladbach have boosted their bid for a top four spot in the German Bundesliga after their Brazilian striker Raffael netted two late goals to hand them a 3-1 win over Hamburger at home.

Belgian forward Thorgan Hazard’s 9th minute opener for the hosts was cancelled out by Andre Hahn before two second half goals in five minutes from the aforementioned Raffael propelled Gladbach to a 3-1 win.

The victory takes Gladbach (28 points) above Borussia Dortmund, TSG Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen into the top four while Hamburger (15 points) stay very close to the relegation zone (16th).
