Lyon edged the battle of the Olympiques at the Groupama Stadium on Sunday night following a 2-0 win over Marseille to further secure third spot on the table.
Goals from Nabir Fekir and former Real Madrid starlet Mariano Diaz either side of halftime gave the hosts the maximum points against Rudi Garcia’s men.
The win takes Lyon level on points with second-placed Monaco and to within nine points of league leaders Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
