Defending champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are through to the quarterfinal of the League Cup following their 4-2 win at Racing Strasbourg.

Angel Di Maria, Daniel Alves and Julian Draxler were all on the scoresheet for the French Ligue 1 leaders as they claimed an easy win over their fellow top flight side Strasbourg to setup a last eight meeting with Amiens.

The Olympiques were not so lucky as they crashed out in their respective last 16 clashes.

Olympique Marseille paid the penalty against Stade Rennes as they were beaten 4-3 during the dreaded penalty shootout after their game ended in a 2-2 draw while Senegalese striker Souleymane Camara netted twice to help his Montpellier team to a 4-1 comeback win over Lyon.
