French defender Maxime Le Marchand has signed for newly promoted Premier League side Fulham ahead of the new season.
Le Marchand, 28, joins the London club from French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice after both clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for his services.
He becomes the Cottagers’ second signing of the summer after teammate Jean Michel Seri.
Maxime Le Marchand was a key player for Nice last season as he helped the club to an eighth place finish in the league.
He made 29 league appearances in addition to five UEFA Europa League (UEL) matches.
The Frenchman became a Nice player in 2015 after joining from fellow French outfit Le Harve.
