Switzerland Challenge League side Grasshopper FC have completed the signing of former Heartland FC of Owerri starlet Francis Momoh.
The 18-year-old striker has penned a three-year contract that will keep him at Grasshopper until the summer of 2022.
On his move to Grasshopper; he says “I thank God so much for this move as I’ve always had the dream to play in Europe. A big thank you to my agent Mr. Chinedu Obi who has guided me all along and I look forward to getting my team back to the Super League at the end of the season”.
His intermediary Chinedu Obi who is over the moon said; “It has not been an easy deal to close but we give thanks to God for everything. We’re looking at the development of Francis that’s why we chose Grasshoppers that are known for developing quality talents in Switzerland “.
Grasshopper, who top the Swiss Challenge League after 2 rounds of matches, face Aarau in their next league match on Friday, August 2.
