Former Chelsea Star Urges Unai Emery To Bin Eagles Star Iwobi

Former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino has advised new Arsenal manager Unai Emery to show the exit door to Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi and eight others.

Cascarino was speaking with the Times.co.uk as he said that the 22-year old Arsenal star is not the top-four quality that Arsenal need at the moment.

In his words, he said: “I don’t think he (Iwobi) will ever be a top-four player, which is what Arsenal need right now.”

Cascarino also wants the former Sevilla coach to show players like Hector Bellerin, Petr Cech, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Calum Chambers, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil the way out of the North London club.

Iwobi had an average for the Gunners last season as he scored just three goals and provided seven assists in 39 games.

The Arsenal academy graduate is currently with the Super Eagles in Uyo as they step up preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
