Former Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva has tasked the team to focus on achieving results and trophies ahead of the new season with the uncertainty over manager Arsene Wenger’s future now a thing of the past.

The 2002 FIFA World Cup winner with Brazil was speaking with reporters during the ongoing Star Sixes tournament in London.

In his words, Gilberto Silva, who was part of the famed invincibles (2003/04), said: “Everyone stick together, new players that join the club do the best to achieve results.”

“Results is victories, play well and achieve trophies.” he added.
