Flying Eagles Off To Bissau On Ahead Of Niger 2019 Qualifier

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will leave the shores of the country on Wednesday ahead of their U20 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) second round first leg clash with Guinea Bissau in Bissau.

According to the team administrator Aliyu Lawal Ibrahim, the Nigerian contingent including 20 players and team officials led by head coach Paul Aigbogun will touch down in Bissau on Wednesday evening ahead of the crucial clash scheduled for the September 24 Stadium in Bissau on Saturday at 4pm local time (5pm Nigerian time).

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has already appointed match officials from Cape Verde for the game.

Fabrizio Duarte will be the centre referee and he will be assisted by Luis Fernandes Barbosa (Assistant Referee 1), Jorge Santos Fonseca Aritson (Assistant Referee 2) and Manuel Antonio Timas Barbosa (Reserve Referee) while the match commissioner El Hadji Amadou Kane is from Senegal.
