The Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved up three spots in the latest FIFA Rankings released earlier on Monday.
According to the latest ranking published on the football body’s official website, Nigeria moved from 44th to the 41st position and are now fifth among the African countries.
The recent rise in the rankings can be traced to their recent feat as the first African country to qualify for next year’s FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia after their 1-0 win against Zambia on October 7.
In the same vein, world champions Germany maintained their no. 1 spot ahead of Brazil and Portugal.
