FIFA Ranking: Falcons End 2017 As Africa’s No.1

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have ended 2017 as Africa’s top team.

In the new FIFA Women’s ranking released, Nigeria dropped two spots to 37th however they still managed to finish ahead of other African countries like Ghana, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and so on.

Falcons’ potential opponents for their 2018 African Women Cup of Nations qualifiers, Burkina Faso and Gambia, we’re not listed.

United States of America maintained their status as the no.1 ranked team in the world followed by Germany, England, Australia and Canada.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking is expected to be published on 23 March 2018.
