FIFA Decides 2019 U17 World Cup Host After Stripping Peru Of Hosting Rights

World football governing body, FIFA have confirmed Brazil will host the FIFA U17 World Cup scheduled to take place this year.

Last year, Peru were awarded rights to host the tournament after Rwanda had pulled out of the bidding process.

But last week, FIFA stripped off hosting rights from the South American country over inadequate preparations and handed over to Brazil.

Nigeria will hope to return to the competition after missing out in the last edition held in India.

The Golden Eaglets will face Angola, Uganda and hosts Tanzania in Group A while Guinea, Cameroon, Morocco and Senegal will battle each other for spots in the semifinal of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania in April.

Semifinalists at the competition automatically book a spot in Brazil.
