FG Redeems Housing Project Pledge To Bonfrere Jo After 22 Years (Photo)

The Federal Government of Nigeria has redeemed the housing project pledge made to former Super Eagles technical adviser Bonfrere Jo.

The Dutchman was presented with the key to the three-bedroom apartment by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola on Tuesday.

The housing project was promised to Bonfrere Jo after he surprisingly led the national U23 team, Dream Team, to win the football event at the Atlanta ’96 Olympic Games and the pledge has now been redeemed 22 years after.

Bonfrere Jo came into prominence as an assistant coach to compatriot Clemence Westerhof before he took charge of the Super Eagles.
