Roger Federer has won his 97th career title after he saw off Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria to win the 2018 edition of the Rotterdam Open.

The Swiss tennis legend defeated Dimitrov 6-2 6-2 in their final clash in 56 minutes to win his 3rd Rotterdam Open title as well as the 2nd title of the season.

Federer, a 20-time Grand Slam title winner, is expected to return to the world number one spot when the new rankings are released on Monday.
