World number one Roger Federer has confirmed that he would miss the entire clay season.
Federer, who recently lost the Indiana Wells Open final to Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina, has decided to pick his battles by staying away from the ever demanding clay season.
With the latest development, the 20-time Grand Slam champion will miss this year’s French Open.
