Welsh side Swansea City are into the FA Cup quarterfinals following their 2-0 win over English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in their last 16 replay at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night.

After a goalless first half, substitute Jordan Ayer shot the Swans into the lead with ten seconds second half minutes gone before the impressive Nathan Dyer scored a second to wrap up the win thus booking a last eight spot in the process.

Swansea City will now host the winner of the last 16 replay between Tottenham Hotspur and Rochdale on Wednesday evening for a place in the semifinal of the competition.
