Chelsea and Leicester City have booked their spots in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup after respective last 16 victories over English Championship sides Hull City and Sheffield United on Friday night.

The Blues thrashed Hull City 4-0 at home courtesy first half goals from Willian (2), Pedro Rodriguez and Giroud, who scored his first goal since moving from London rivals Arsenal last month.

For former Premier League champions, Leicester City, their victory was not as emphatic as that of the current Premier League champions but the 1-0 victory over Sheffield United was enough to propel the Foxes into the last eight.

Leading scorer Jamie Vardy was the hero for Leicester City as he scored midway into the second half to lead his side into the next round.
