FA Cup 5th Round Draw: Big Guns Kept Apart

The big teams have been kept apart in the FA Cup 5th round after the draw took place earlier on Monday evening.

The teams namely Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United were handed favourable fixtures in the last 16 of the competition.

Premier League leaders Manchester City will travel to English League One outfit Wigan Athletic in the quest for a last eight spot while last season’s losing finalists will host 2014 finalists Hull City at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham Hotspur have a fourth round replay to navigate against Welsh outfit Newport County.

If the North London side can pass that test, they will face the winner of the replay between Millwall and Rochdale.

12-time winners Manchester United will travel to the winner of the replay between Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City in the fifth round.

Ties will take place from February 16-19, 2018.
