The Super Eagles of Nigeria have received a huge boost ahead of the upcoming international friendlies against Poland and Serbia after goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa disclosed that he is back in training.

Enyimba goalkeeper Ezenwa sustained a knee injury during the just concluded African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.

He sustained the injury during the CHAN Eagles’ 1-0 win over Sudan in the semi-final and was initially ruled out for three to four weeks.

Ezenwa is however in line to feature in the aforementioned friendlies next month following his speedy recovery.

In a chat with reporters, Ezenwa said: “I have started training with my personal fitness trainer and I hope to get back on the pitch before the end of the month.”
